Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving has past and we see, the U.S. has a President with some guts. Making a surprise visit to the troops in Iraq! What a feat. It was great. Yes, there was a great deal of secrecy, but what do you expect, it is a 13 hour trip and any advance notice to the enemy would have given them a chance to try and create havoc or be prepared to try and take out the President. It is good to see that this administration can move about secretly when it is necessary, and in these trying times, it is often necessary.

If you think not, remember 9/11 when the news media was reporting the whereabouts of the President before anything was known about the magnitude of the attack. It is in America's best interest at times to keep things quiet, and if necessary, leave the press behind.

Lastly, think of what it would have been like had the liberals maintained the office of President - where would we be now. Probably still working with a focus group trying to figure out what the problem was. And if you think these actions are wrong, read the book "Dereliction of Duty" and see what the previous White House was really all about, a bunch of self-grandizing people with no concern for the American public and the freedoms we have. Typical liberal thinking, everything is okay as long as we can regulate it! Well, everything is NOT okay - we need to set boundaries and we need to enforce the Constitution on strick grounds, not just "whatever the liberal thought of the day is."
